Vehicles

Learn about driving licenses, buying cars, insurance, repairs and the public transport systems of the city.

Get
moving.

You do not need a vehicle to live in the city, but owning one makes getting around much faster. To drive your own car you need a driving license, a car from the dealership and some fuel.

Driving License

Pass the theory and the practical test to be allowed to spawn cars.

Car Dealership

Browse collections, preview cars and buy the ones you like.

Insurance

Get your car back faster after it was destroyed.

Public Transport

Metro, tram and train get you around without owning a car.

Driving
license.

You cannot spawn a car without a driving license. The test costs 5,000€ and consists of two parts.

Theory

Answer questions about traffic rules and road signs. It is a good idea to study the signs around the driving school first.

Practical Test

A test car is spawned for you. Reach the marked areas on the bridge, in the roundabout and at the parking spot. Stay on the road, because leaving the road adds error points.

Before you start

Despawn your current vehicle with /delcar before starting the test. You can cancel a running test with /canceldrivingtest.

Passing the test also gives you a small boost to your reputation.

Buy your
ride.

The car dealership sorts its cars into collections. Pick a collection, browse the cars and check their top speed, acceleration and number of seats. You can preview a car before you buy it. Some collections are only available for a limited time.

Your reputation changes the price: very honored players get a 10% discount, while players with a criminal reputation pay 10% more. See the Reputation section in Getting Started.

Remember

Cars are expensive. Build up a reliable income before buying one and do not forget that you also need a driving license.

Spawn and
drive.

Owned cars are spawned at car spawners around the city. Open the spawner, search or sort your cars and click Spawn. You can only have one vehicle spawned at a time.

/delcar

Despawn your current vehicle.

/lockcar

Lock your vehicle so nobody else can use it.

/unlockcar

Unlock your vehicle again.

Fuel

A fuel bar is shown while you drive. Keep an eye on it so you do not run dry.

Insurance &
repairs.

If your car is destroyed, you cannot spawn it again right away. Without insurance it takes 20 minutes before the car is available again. With vehicle insurance it takes only 5 minutes.

Vehicle Insurance

A one time fee of 10,000€. You can cancel it at any time.

Mechanic

At the garage you can mount tires, install and upgrade parts and repair your car.

Tune your
car.

The mechanic's garage lets you repair and upgrade your car. Drive into the garage with your own car and talk to the mechanic. Only cars can enter, only one car fits at a time and you cannot enter the garage while you are wanted.

Engine

Raises top speed and acceleration.

Brakes

Raises your braking strength.

Fuel Tank

Lowers fuel consumption so a full tank takes you further.

Trunk

Adds storage rows to your trunk.

Chassis

Raises the amount of damage your car can take.

Tires

Choose road tires for more speed on roads, offroad tires for more traction away from the road or ice tires for winter. Only one tire type can be mounted at a time.

Style

Add a drift effect, a trail effect or a different horn to your car.

Repair

Repair damage to your car. The cost depends on the price of your car and how damaged it is.

Parts come in five upgrade tiers: Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. Each tier is stronger and more expensive than the one before. You can preview a part before you buy it.
