Businesses are a big part of the economy. Players can found their own company, hire employees and manage a shared company account. Smaller operations like chest shops let you sell goods from your own property.

Found a
company.
To found a company you need an Office and the company computer inside it. Offices can be bought from Vertex Properties. Creating a company costs 25,000€.
The company name must be unique and between 3 and 24 characters long. After you pay, the company is created and you become its owner.
Company management
Employees
Send job offers to other players. You choose their position (for example Cashier) and their daily salary. They can accept or decline the offer. You can change positions and salaries later.
Company Account
Deposit money from your personal account and withdraw it again. Employees are paid from the company account.
Company Icon
Click an item in your inventory to use it as the icon of your company.
Disbanding
The owner can disband the company. The remaining balance is paid out to the owner.
If you receive a job offer, you can accept or decline it.
Sell from
home.
If you own a house, you can set up a chest shop inside it and sell items to other players. House owners can also give trusted players permission to manage chest shops. Only give this permission to players you really trust.
Prices &
reputation.
Your reputation affects how much you pay. Players with a very high reputation get shop discounts, players with a very low reputation pay a surcharge. Most shops also have a limited daily stock, so popular items can sell out.
Bank interest
Money in your bank account earns interest every hour, even while you are offline. The rate depends on your reputation.

Life insurance
When you die, half of your pocket money drops at the place where you died as a money check. Life insurance costs 5,000€ once and 3,000€ per day. With it you only lose a small part instead of half, between 5% (Honored) and 25% (Criminal) depending on your reputation.
