The Oblivion City Police Department, commonly known as the OCPD, is responsible for protecting the people of Oblivion City and enforcing the law.
Police is one of the most complex jobs in NukeRoleplay. Officers have access to specialized tools, departments and systems that allow them to handle everything from everyday patrols to major incidents.
Officers are expected to act professionally, follow the law and use their authority responsibly. Good work can lead to promotions and eventually to positions of leadership within the department.

Becoming a police officer is not as simple as selecting the job. Players must first demonstrate that they understand the responsibilities that come with being a member of law enforcement.
Visit the LETC
Before joining the police, players must visit the Law Enforcement Training Center and take the required test.
Pass the Test
The LETC test consists of multiple-choice questions. You must pass the test before continuing with the recruitment process.

The Law Enforcement Training Center, or LETC, is where aspiring officers prove that they understand the fundamentals of law enforcement before joining the OCPD.
The LETC is not only useful for new recruits. Current police officers can return to the training center whenever they want to practice and improve their skills.
Recruitment Test
New applicants must complete the multiple-choice LETC test before they can proceed with recruitment.
Officer Training
Existing officers can use the LETC to train and practice at any time.
Rise through
the ranks.
The OCPD has a structured rank system. Officers can progress through the department by doing good work, gaining experience and taking on greater responsibilities.
Shift Officers
The frontline officers of the OCPD. Shift Officers handle everyday police work, patrols, calls and enforcement.
Commanders
Commanders are responsible for leading divisions and overseeing the officers working within them.
Chief Ranks
The highest ranks in the OCPD. Chief Ranks oversee the department as a whole and provide overall leadership for the police force.
Higher ranks come with greater responsibility. Officers should always remember that rank is earned through good work and responsible conduct.
Specialized
Units.
The OCPD is divided into several specialized departments. Each unit focuses on a different area of police work and can have its own members and progression.
SWAT
A specialized tactical unit for situations that require a higher level of preparation, coordination and equipment.
ASU
The Aviation Support Unit provides aerial support for police operations and situations where an elevated view is useful.
K-9 Corps
The K-9 Corps specializes in police work involving trained police dogs and their handlers.
Internal Affairs
Internal Affairs focuses on maintaining accountability and investigating issues involving members of the department.
Officers can become members of specialized units and progress through their respective structures. Commanders are responsible for leading divisions, while the Chief Ranks oversee the department at the highest level.
Wanted
List.
Police stations provide an important service to everyone in the city. At the reception desk, any player can view the current list of wanted players.
The wanted list allows players and officers to see which individuals are currently wanted by law enforcement.
Being wanted can have serious consequences. Police officers are responsible for handling wanted players according to the applicable laws and procedures.
Tools of
the trade.
Police officers have access to a variety of tools and systems designed to make their work more efficient. These tools allow officers to access relevant information, respond to situations and perform their duties throughout the city.
Mobile Data
Officers can access relevant police information through specialized police systems while away from a station.
Police Equipment
Specialized equipment helps officers handle different situations and perform their duties efficiently.
Communication
Police work depends on effective communication between officers, divisions and leadership.
Training
Officers can continue practicing and improving their skills at the LETC.
Enforce

Police officers have a position of authority and are expected to use that authority responsibly.
Every officer should act according to the law, treat civilians fairly and avoid unnecessary use of their authority. Professional conduct is an important part of being a member of the OCPD.
Police officers must always act within the law. Misusing police authority can damage public trust and may have consequences for an officer's career.
The goal of the OCPD is not simply to punish criminals. Officers are there to maintain order, protect civilians and keep Oblivion City safe.
